Decided to do a short flight to St. Thomas using an American Eagle E175 on Infinite Flight. The question is why, why would I fly American Eagle from San Juan to St Thomas if they don't fly in San Juan? Well.. They did. Now yes it wasn't envoy air but they don't have American Eagle - Executive Airlines callsign. I decided to replicate a flight they did using ATR72 when they were operating. Executive Airlines operated ATR72 all over the Caribbean using San Juan as their hub, as subsidary of American Eagle anyone who wanted to travel to the United States from the Caribbean they could've used San Juan as a hub to travel to different states of the USA. Anyways lets get with the trip report San Juan (SJU) - St. Thomas (STT) Beautiful day for flying. Right know boarding 40 passengers going to St Thomas today. Haven't flown the E175 in a while so I hope I remember how to fly this baby. This takeoff was a bit windy, had to use a bit rudder to maintain the aircraft on the center line while pulling up for takeoff. I decided to use a real life departure to St. Thomas by climbing to 520 feet then turn north at 64 degrees heading up to 4500 feet and then turning direct to TOURO while maintaining 9000 feet and follow the ILS arrival to runway 10 at St Thomas. WORST LANDING EVERYep.. 16 knots crosswind and a 5 second float on a short runway is not fun. I probably landed with -300fpm (probably exaggerating but you get the point). Rough touch down but managed to stop before the runway ended that's what matters. Parked at Gate 01 while still devastated by such a bad landing. There's always next time though. Sorry passengers, haven't flown the E175 in a while XD. Alright well this was just a short flight with the E175 after a month so I can get better with the upcoming days.
Thanks for reading this trip report. It's my first trip report so I might have not included everything required for it or need to improve in certain areas but now you know what happen in this flight...
